Optical Interconnect Cable for a Glowing Object in a Rolling Mill

We present another application of fiber optics.

This is a bundle optical cable designed for heavy industry, specifically for monitoring a glowing object on a rolling mill table. Mechanical protection for the light guide is provided by a metal spiral hose. The sensor end is designed in a HEMISPHERICAL arrangement, where the monitoring signal is transmitted through one fiber, while the other is detected in the electronic device. The standard length of the sensor fiber cable can be up to 10 meters.

The shape and design of the ends can be customized according to the customer's request.
